Though this site does not deal with real weapons, I felt it necessary to
pass on some safety information about real weapons.
Never use a weapon against another person, except in self-defense. Weapons
are not things to be taken lightly. Always operate them in a safe and
controlled manner.
Never use a weapon if you have not been properly instructed on how to use
it. Weapons are not toys, and should be treated with respect at all
times.
Always leave the safety (when applicable) on until you are ready to fire.
Do not put your finger on the trigger at any time unless ready to discharge
the weapon.
Make sure all weapons are properly cleaned and maintained. Mistreated
weapons may become unstable and have unpredictable results. Owning
a weapon of any kind requires a strict responsibility by the owner.
Cleaning and maintaining weapons is part of that responsibility.
Always make sure the area you are using a weapon in is safe. Never
fire a weapon in a direction that you are unsure of. Never fire a weapon
against any backdrop that is not weapons approved. |
